For the "Green Recycle Summit" planned to be organized by OKKU, the Rector met with KTDP Coordinator Mr. Erçin Tekakpınar and Lefkoşa Chamber of Industry Board of Directors General Secretary and Entrepreneurial Women Development Cooperative Vice President Ms. Yeşim Çıraklı, to discuss what can be done for renewable energy in Cyprus and advantages proposed by this summit. The Rector of our university, Prof. Dr. Meltem Onay, held talks believing that the summit, which will be held under the auspices of the Ministry of Energy, will constitute important steps towards becoming the first "Climate Neutral Island" in the world.
