Onbeş Kasım Kıbrıs University Celebrated the 2023-2024 Fall Semester Graduation Ceremony with Keen Interest

Onbeş Kasım Kıbrıs University held a Graduation Ceremony on Thursday, February 29, at the Lefkoşa campus for its graduates entitled to receive their Bachelor's Degrees and High Honor and Honor certificates. The ceremony was attended by the Speaker of the Assembly, Mr. Zorlu Töre, YÖDAK member, Prof. Dr. Remziye Terkan, Onbeş Kasım Kıbrıs University Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Ertan Birinci and his wife Meliz Birinci, as well as the Honorable Members of the Board of Trustees, Onbeş Kasım Kıbrıs University Secretary General, Dr. Cansu Meryem Biri, President of Turkish Cypriot Orthopedically Disabled People’s Association Mr. Günay Kibrit, academicians, administrative staff, graduate students and their respected families.

The ceremony took place at 16:00, starting with a minute of silence for Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, Late Founding President Rauf Raif Denktaş, Community Leader Dr. Fazıl Küçük, all dear martyrs and the Champion Angels who we lost during the February 6 earthquakes, and then proceeded with the National Anthem.  At the Graduation Ceremony, the President of the Assembly of the Republic, Mr. Zorlu Töre, the Rector of Onbeş Kasım Cyprus University, Prof. Dr. Meltem Onay, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Ertan Birinci, YÖDAK Member, Prof. Dr. Remziye Terkan, gave their speeches. The students were presented their High Honor and Honor certificates and diplomas and were congratulated. The occassion was finalized with the graduates throwing their caps into the air, accompanied by a very enthusiastic applause.
