The Education Protocol was signed between OKKU and Hür-İş Federation
The Education Protocol was signed between Onbes Kasım Kıbrıs University (OKKU) and Hür-İş Federation.
In the agreement signed at the OKKU Rector's office on Wednesday, September 07, 2022 at 11.00, it was mentioned the educational benefits that will be provided to the members of the 6 trade unions that is related to Hür- İş Federation.
During the protocol signing ceremony, OKKU Secretary General Dr. Cansu Meryem Birinci was also present. OKKU Rector Prof. Dr. Remziye Terkan and Hür-İş Federation Secretary General Mr. Ali Yeltekin expressed that in the signed agreement, it is one of our main goals that there would be studies between OKKU and the HÜR-İş Federation to provide educational benefits to our society, they both agreed that its aim to provide educational contribution to our people, developing-strengthening their perspectives, providing a forward-looking vision and to be able to take more solid steps for their future.
Hür-İş Federation Secretary General Ali Yeltekin said that “Education and higher education are important for us, OKKU has displayed sensitivity on this issue for 3 years. He said that motivating our employees and make their prudential goal clear makes us happy. In recent conditions, it is our duty to motivate our employees by getting this opportunity from OKKU. He thanked in name of their employees to UKKU ‘s administration for providing such an educational opportunity. OKKU Rector Prof. Dr. Remziye Terkan said, "I would like to express our pleasure by signing the educational protocol with the HÜR- IŞ Federation for the three times. We appreciate the sensitivity of Hür- İş Federation about education and also appreciated General Secretary Esteemed Ali Yeltekin’s studies on education.‘As Onbeş Kasım Kıbrıs University, it is one of the our priority to facilitate educational opportunities for employees, I am also happy and
