General Information About the International Tourism Management Master's Program
The International Tourism Management Master's Program, which follows the latest international and local developments in the fields of application and technology, is a program prepared in cooperation with the tourism industry and aims to provide its students with the equipment that will enable them to become leading managers and academics in the sector.
The aim of the program is to enable students to develop their business and academic lives as individuals who are equipped with managerial skills at the highest level, have a good command of research techniques and principles, can think analytically, and have vision in the fields of tourism and hotel management. In addition to basic courses such as marketing, management, accounting and finance, the program also includes courses on tourism planning, research techniques, and service management. Students who successfully complete the courses complete the program by doing thesis work with their advisors on the subjects they are interested in.

This course will discuss in detail the methods and techniques necessary for the research to be carried out regarding any information or finding to be presented in academic environments, in an appropriate way according to the environment and presentation style. At the same time, ethical issues to be considered while collecting data on the research subject will be presented to the students in detail in the course.

Basic information about management and organization in the field of tourism at the global level, management functions, classification of tourism enterprises, organizational structures of these enterprises, managerial functions, strategies, policies, decision making, workforce planning and workforce in accommodation, travel, transportation, food and beverage and other hospitality businesses. Increasing productivity, main business strategies in terms of tourism businesses, management systems of chain tourist businesses, theory and practice of change and current approaches.

UATI 505 Marketing Strategies in International Tourism Management CR:(3,0)3 ECTS:8
This course helps managers identify, select and implement strategies that will make their organizations more competitive in the marketplace. The aim of this course is to provide decision makers with concepts, methods and procedures that can improve the quality of strategic (marketing management) decision making. Advanced marketing strategies will be covered in this course. With this course, it is aimed to convey these elements to students through simulation so that students can develop a real marketing campaign for business in the Tourism and Hospitality industry. Depending on the purpose of the course, the steps to be taken in order to make profit with effective advertising, sales and public relations management will be examined by developing (a) market analysis, competition and product, (b) financial budget planning, and (c) short-term and comprehensive strategies.

This course informs students about the basic concepts and practices related to sustainable tourism development policies and planning. Effective planning is necessary for tourism to develop in a sustainable and non-harmful way that is beneficial to the environment, society and economic development. This course will address the need for tourism planning today, its process and issues related to tourism planning. The course also aims to reveal the importance of the decisions and practices of local governments in ensuring the sustainable development of tourism and to develop new suggestions for decision makers in this regard. During the adaptation of the concept of sustainability and development, which aims to enable the use of future generations by preserving resources, to tourism, it is aimed to learn what should be done in tourism planning studies and tourism development within the scope of this course.
UATI 506 Management Accounting in International Tourism Businesses CR:(3,0)3 ECTS:6
The aim of this course is to focus on the use of financial information in managerial decisions in the international hotel and tourism sector. This course also enables students to develop their ability to use accounting techniques in the planning and control process within the framework of the understanding of the company accounting/reporting process. At the end of this course, students will have learned how to measure business performance using strategic performance measurement techniques, prepare profit planning, understand and prepare business budgets, and make decisions on contemporary pricing issues.
